Pokémon Scarlet and Violet first released last November and was a huge success. The game went on to hit 20.61 million in sales, by the end of December. In that time it has become one of the highest selling Nintendo Switch games, despite launching with a few technical issues.
On the 27th of February we got to see the next chapter for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and if we can expect anything more for these games. Now, after a few days of rumours, we have official confirmation of what DLC we can expect to arrive in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet as well as when it will be coming.
When Will Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC Release?
During Pokémon day, not one, but two expansions were announced to be coming to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. These will make up, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, with part one arriving in fall.
Part one is called The Teal Mask, while part two is called The Indigo Disc and will arrive before the end of winter 2023.
So we will get two expansions to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet before the end of the year. In these expansions players will explore new areas where we will also be able to encounter all new Pokémon. You can check out the trailer here.
