They only went and did it. After hitting the halfway mark last week, Pokémon Go trainers managed to catch 3 billion Pokémon in the Global Challenge Event over the weekend.

This means that the previously limited to Japan Farfetch’d is now available everywhere worldwide for a 48 hour period (as of yesterday), so you’ve still got time to nab one yourself. Players in East Asia, meanwhile, get their mitts on Kangaskhan, which was previously only available in Australia.
