The Pokémon Company has revealed that the upcoming Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will get a brand new area, Ramanas Park.
This facility is an all-new addition for the remakes, and seems to be where trainers will be able to encounter Mythical and Legendary Pokémon. Ramanas Park will only be accessible to players once they’ve entered the Hall of Fame. The park is an area with mysterious caves containing pedestals that will allow them to summon specific Pokémon.
The team is keeping details on exactly how you’ll obtain tablets to summon them for players to discover. However, just like with certain more common Pokémon, certain beasts will only be available in certain games. Raikou, Entei, Suicune and Ho-Oh will be in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond. Pokémon Shining Pearl owners get Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Lugia. As is tradition though, you’ll be able to get the missing ones by trading with friends who own the other game, for example.
Furthermore, there’ll be bonuses for players with saves from older Pokémon games. Pokémon Sword and Shield owners will be able to get Jirachi as a companion. Meanwhile, Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu! and Let’s Go Eevee! trainers will be able to get their hands on the Mythical Pokémon Mew in
Finally, the Pokémon Company has announced there’ll be a launch day patch for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The patch will enable communication features in the Grand Underground, and a further update is promised that will allow more than 2 players to battle and trade in the Union Room.
