The Pokémon Company has shown off a three-and-a-half minute trailer for upcoming remakes Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl.

Offering up a fairly comprehensive look of the game’s new visuals on Nintendo Switch, today’s Pokémon Presents broadcast offered a look at some of the new and enhanced features. These include the ability to customise your Pokéballs with stickers, and the new version of Pokémon talent contests.

Of course, we also get reacquainted with this iteration’s team of baddies. Team Galactic plan to use the Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia to twist time and space, creating a new universe. Also new for the remake is a Grand Underground area, where you’ll also find your secret base. You’ll be able to decorate this space how you see fit, and it appears it’ll also effect which Pokémon you’ll be able to catch in the Underground.

Nintendo also announced that it’ll be launching a specially themed console ahead of the remakes’ release. On Friday, November 5 you’ll be able to get your hands on a Nintendo Switch Lite Dialga & Palkia Edition. It comes in black with the two named Legendary monsters engraved on the back in gold and silver.

You can check out the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl trailer and the full Pokémon Presents broadcast below. The game launches exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on November 19, 2021.
