Sony has announced an upcoming PlayStation State of Play event in April 2023 that will feature 20 minutes of exclusive Final Fantasy 16 gameplay. It’s important to note, though, that this showcase will only contain footage for the upcoming Square Enix creation, which means there won’t be any other game reveals throughout its duration.

But even so, fans of the ever-popular RPG series are as excited as ever to feast their eyes on a more in-depth preview of the highly anticipated installment. For this reason, we’ll be providing both the start date and time for the event, as well as the channels where you’ll be able to tune in so you won’t miss out on any of the action. So without wasting any more of your time, let’s jump right into it.

PlayStation State of Play April 2023 start date and time

The next PlayStation State of Play will be held on April 13, 2023 at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM GMT. As mentioned before, this showcase will only include exclusive gameplay footage of Final Fantasy 16, meaning those waiting on announcements or reveals of other games, such as Spider-Man 2, may end up being disappointed.

Nevertheless, Final Fantasy 16 remains one of the most significant releases of the year so the excitement surrounding this showcase is fairly high. If you’re a fan of the Square Enix RPG series and you’re looking forward to the event, then here’s how and where you can watch it.

How to watch PlayStation State of Play April 2023

You’ll be able to watch the PlayStation State of Play in April 2023 through their official YouTube and Twitch channels. Much like how it was during the February 2023 State of Play, these will be the only ways that you can tune in to the show, so we recommend opening these pages ahead of time to account for any unforeseen changes.

While you wait for the show to begin, we recommend reading up on our Final Fantasy 16 release date piece so you know when the long-awaited RPG is going to drop. With the game already having gone gold ahead of launch, this installment looks to be another success in Square Enix’s storied series.
