2K has announced a release date for the upcoming PGA Tour 2K23, with the Tiger Woods fronted game coming in October.

The game will mark Tiger Woods’ first appearance on the cover of a golf game in eight years, and the first with rivals 2K. His involvement was announced last year.

As well as the cover athlete, Tiger will be an in-game playable pro and join a roster of more than 14 other golfers. They include Justin Thomas, Lexi Thompson, Tony Fianu and more.

However, those who pre-order the game will also get an added bonus of Michael Jordan. The basketball superstar famously quit baseball for a little while to become a golfer – as humorously depicted in classic 1996 movie Space Jam.

Sadly, we don’t think Bugs and co will be involved here, but hey – it’s a cool bonus nonetheless. Those who don’t get Jordan as a pre-order will be able to buy the athlete after launch as DLC.

Is PGA Tour 2K23 cross platform?

PGA Tour 2K23 will be on both Xbox and PlayStation, including the previous generations of console.

However, cross play will not be supported between PlayStation and Xbox. There’ll also be no Switch version of the game.
