PES 2016 will see two Brazilian clubs jump ship from FIFA and become exclusive to Konami’s football sim.
Flamengo and Corinthians have signed to feature exclusively in PES 2016, according to reports (via IBTimes). The two teams will not appear at all in FIFA 16.
Ahead of the launch of FIFA 15, EA announced that the Brazilian leagues would not feature in the game, and it looks like that trend could be about to continue, at the very least when it comes to these two teams.
Burns recently played PES 2016 at E3, and hailed it as potentially the best football game ever made. Meanwhile, I got the chance to play FIFA 16, and was equally-glowing in my praise. This looks set to be an intense competition for top-spot, and one PES and FIFA faithfuls will argue until the bitter end.
FIFA 16 launches in the UK on September 25 for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. You can pre-order FIFA 16 now.
