Update: Payday 3’s now seen an official launch, and the servers seem to have faced a similar fate. Like last time, there’s not much to be done aside from waiting.

With the release time only having passed fifteen minutes ago, at the time of writing, the Payday 3 servers have since gone down.

If you head on over to the Starbreeze Nebula, which is their account portal, and try and sign-in, you’re going to be met with a Bad Gateway Cloudflare issue labelled Error code 502.

The issue clearly indicates a major issue on the side of the Payday 3 website servers, which are also meaning that players are going to be able to get onto the game despite having paid for pre-orders.

It seems as though there are issues with players linking their Steam and other accounts to the Starbreeze Nebula, though it might be the case that players who had previously done so will be able to get into the game. Redditors have stated that a possible work-around is creating an account through the Nebula, rather than linking it directly, though we haven’t had the time to confirm this.

The issue is not just targetting PC players, but those on consoles are also affected.
