The next chapter of Payday 3 has many fans excited as their next heist involves breaking fan-favourite gang member Houston out of custody. The Houston Breakout DLC also comes with a free major update that includes a brand-new heist and additional gear to play around with. So regardless of whether or not you go ahead and buy the DLC, you’ll have some new things in the game to keep you busy once the update goes live.
Houston was one of the original gang members in the previous game and the younger brother to their leader, Dallas. He was revealed to be incarcerated in Riker’s Island during the events of Payday 3, and it looks like the crew has finally decided to break him out while trashing a courtroom in the process.
When is Houston Breakout coming out?
As revealed by the brief trailer for the new DLC, Houston Breakout is coming out on August 19, 2024. The game’s servers are expected to go down for maintenance for a few hours before the update’s release. This is to make sure everything is implemented without issue keep an eye out for any announcements regarding the cooperative shooting game’s server status and official patch notes once maintenance is completed.
