Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 will launch in October for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and 3DS, Bandai Namco Games UK has announced.

The sequel features Pac, Spiral and Cylindria – from the animated series – in an all-new storyline as they defend PacWorld from the ghoulish army of Lord Betrayus.

Players will explore the lands of PacWorld beyond the streets of Pacopolis and the Netherworld through the depths of the ocean floor and into space.

When chomping down on the many types of Power Berries from the Tree of Life, Pac will be able to transform into many different versions of himself, including enhanced versions of returning powers such as Fire Pac and IcePac and new transformations including the gigantic PacZilla.

Pac will also be able to pilot many of the vehicles seen in the animated show including the Lemon Rocket and Pacerchini.

Cylindria and Spiral will be playable in fast on-rails levels, and the pair will also be on hand to assist Pac whenever he needs it.
