What is Overwatch 2 error code BC-153 and how to fix it?

If you’re trying to login to Overwatch 2 at the moment, you’re not alone. While the game launched earlier this week, fans have been facing issues trying to get in, including the error code BC-153.

There’s not a lot of information on this error code at the moment on Blizzard’s support website. However, it appears to be an issue with connecting to the game servers.

The good news is that it doesn’t appear to be a user issue – so if you keep seeing this issue it’s most likely an issue on Blizzard’s end rather than with your setup.

So, if you’re running into this error frequently, it may be worth going away and coming back later. It’s not an ideal situation – but hopefully this error will be seen less and less frequently as the launch rush dies down.
