More than 20 years after first appearing in HMV, Amiga classic Carrier Command will return to the retailer’s Trocadero store for one day only.

Running on the second day of London Games Festival, between 10am and 6pm, players will have the opportunity to play the game running on a Commodore computer hooked up to a large LCD screen.

Players will also have the chance to jump into Bohemia’s modern interpretation of the game, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission.

If you can’t make it to London, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission will also be available to play for free for two weeks after release in the following HMV Gamerbase stores: HMV Manchester, 90 Market Street; HMV Edinburgh, 130 Princes Street, HMV Glasgow, 235 Buchanan Street.

Everyone who plays the game in-store on Friday, September 28 will be entered into a draw to win an Xbox 360. There’s one console up for grabs at each Gamerbase.

Carrier Command: Gaea Mission will be released by Mastertronic on Friday, September 28 for Xbox 360 and PC.
