By our math skills, which are rudimentary at best first thing on a Monday morning, N64 classic The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time could cost around £8.99 when it lands on the Wii’s Virtual Console.
According to Nintendo’s official Japanese website, the vintage RPG will be available to download over there in February at a cost of 1,200 Wii Points – a pretty hefty price tag for a game that’s nearly a decade old.
But, with more than 8.6 million copies of Ocarina shifted worldwide since its launch in 1998, we expect the lure of a spot of nostalgic adventuring will encourage scores of Wii owners to shell out that little extra cash.
A UK price and release date for the game have yet to be confirmed.
