PS3 owners can now gain instant access to Sky Movies and all six Sky Sports channels thanks to the launch of NOW TV.

From today, PS3 users can access the NOW TV app, with movies costing £15 a month (three-month introductory offer of £8.99 a month) and Sky Sports Day Passes priced £9.99.

A 30 day free trial is also available for Sky Movies.

Each month, customers can enjoy access to up to 20 new premieres – at least 12 months before they become available on Netflix or LOVEFiLM Instant.

There’s also the promise of NOW TV expanding to include shows from Sky 1, Sky Atlantic, Sky Arts and Sky Living.

Though it’s yet to be confirmed, user reports suggest that those who sign up to the 30-day trial will also receive a 90-day subscription to PlayStation Plus. Sky has said that the full details of the offer will be announced later today.

NOW TV is already available on Xbox 360 and a range of mobile devices.
