The line up of games that will be available to PSP buyers in North America at launch has been revealed. Most of the import friendly Japanese launch titles are going to be available from day one, but a number of key western developed titles are also due in the Launch period. Big name games include Wipeout Pure, FIFA 2005 and Need for Speed Rivals. The other interesting news is that games could retail for as little as $39.99, which is $10 less than the usual price point of games in the US.

The following games are all due in the launch period, which is an unspecified length of time around the consoles launch. A similar line up is expected for the European launch, perhaps lacking some of the American sports titles.

  • Ape Escape: On the Loose, Sony Computer Entertainment America
  • ATV Offroad Fury: Blazin’ Trails, SCEA
  • Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower, Capcom
