‘No final answer’ on PS3 Tomb Raider: Underworld demo

There is still “no final answer” on the chances of a PS3 demo for Tomb Raider: Underworld, developer Crystal Dynamics has revealed.

An October demo for the hotly anticipated Lara Croft adventure was confirmed by publisher Eidos at the same it announced plans to release two brand new Tomb Raider: Underworld chapters as 360 exclusive downloadable content.

Following the announcement, MTV Multiplayer reported that the demo, along with the DLC, was Xbox 360 exclusive.

However, creative director Eric Lindstrom gave hope to PS3 owners in an interview with VideoGamer.com, to be published later today, where he said there was “no final answer” on the possibility of the demo coming to the PS3.

When asked if there is a chance the demo will appear on PS3, Lindstrom replied: “I’m not entirely sure. I’ve been talking to brand, and I don’t think there’s a final answer on that yet.”
