A demo for the PC version of Lionhead’s RPG Fable III was never planned, despite Microsoft mouthpiece Major Nelson reporting on his blog that a demo was planned for May 17.
Lionhead told IncGamers that no demo for the PC version of Fable III was ever planned and that there has been a misunderstanding.
As we reported in our hands-on preview of the game last month, Fable III on PC is fairly faithful port of the Xbox 360 original, but adds a new Hardcore mode that makes enemies stronger. The result is a more challenging game, which will please fans who found the Xbox 360 game a walk in the park.
Fable III for PC is due on May 20.
