How does that happen? How do you take a screen shot of an upcoming new Wii game that’s failing to connect to the Internet and then send it out to the press? Impossible you’d say. But that’s exactly what Nintendo’s done with the latest batch of screens for Wii Chess, due out January 18 in the UK.

Ignoring the unfortunate gaff for a moment, Wii Chess looks like it’ll be pretty good for chess fans. Well, chess fans who own a Wii anyway. You can even play online against your CHECK mate. Heh.
