Nintendo has registered a new “Online” game titled Zelda Universe, according to an entry on the Entertainment Software Rating Board’s website.
Where Nintendo’s titles are listed under platforms like the Nintendo DS and Wii, Zelda Universe is simply listed as Online.
However it is unlikely the game is an upcoming MMORPG as this genre is listed under platform headings such as PC and Macintosh. Flash games on the other hand are listed exclusively as Online.
While it’s unclear what game this potentially could be, if Nintendo are applying for a rating for the game this means it is already near completion.
It’s worth noting that Zelda Universe is also the name of the website that serves as a hub for all of Nintendo’s Zelda games.
