Nintendo has unveiled a celebrity line-up promoting its winter line-up on Wii and Nintendo DS, with ‘Queen’ Helen Mirren and JLS to appear on your TV screens playing Wii Fit Plus and Wii Party respectively.

Sir Terry Wogan is keeping his mind active with Brain Training on the DS, Jamie and Louise Redknapp will be playing New Super Mario Bros, and X-Factor winner and runner-up Alexandra Burke and Olly Murs are playing Dragon Quest IX and New Super Mario Bros.

Ant and Dec are supporting Donkey Kong Country Returns on the Wii and Jedward are taking on Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies.

Dawn Paine, marketing director at Nintendo UK, said: “This year’s star line up is the best yet, demonstrating the wide appeal of Nintendo products. This Christmas, with the help of our celebrity friends, we will be helping the nation play together and have fun whatever their age. Look out for the first advert featuring JLS enjoying Wii Party at 18:45 during Monday’s Hollyoaks on Channel 4!”
