While Xbox 360 owners can dress up in a suit or dress this weekend, Sony has gone down a rather different route. PlayStation Home community manager CydoniaX has posted on the official PlayStation blog revealing that from February 12 you’ll be able to buy a ninja outfit from the Mall inside PlayStation Home.
To celebrate this new costume Sony is holding an ‘I Love Ninjas’ event, in which the first instance of the new community-named Home hang-out space, the Gamer’s Lounge, to be completely filled with people wearing ninja costumes will win vouchers for SOCOM and Warhawk.
CydoniaX also reconfirmed Capcom’s plans for PlayStation Home, with Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV both to appear inside the virtual world. Resident Evil 5 fans will be able to launch the game straight from PlayStation Home, whereas SFIV players will be able to get their hands on new costumes and content, much of which is unlocked by playing the game. New game spaces are also coming for Warhawk and SOCOM.
