The Xbox 360 is due to be released in Japan on December 10, but Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s Ninety-Nine Nights won’t be available to buy with the console. The hack ‘n’ slash is one of the most high-profile Eastern developed titles for the 360 and is seen by Microsoft as a key game in the Japanese Xbox 360 launch window.
Japanese gamers won’t have to wait too long though, with Japanese retailers claiming that the game will be released on January 12 costing 7,140 yen (£35). Microsoft still remains tight-lipped on a release outside of Japan, but expect a release in North America and Europe sometime in 2006
