Bandai Namco Games has polished off a cute-as-buttons launch trailer for upcoming JRPG sequel Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.

Due out on PC and PS4 on March 23, Ni no Kuni II takes place around 100 years after the events of its critically acclaimed predecessor, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, as we follow pint-sized protagonist King Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum as he attempts to reclaim his throne.

Much like the first Ni no Kuni game, the sequel channels the same vibrant chibi-like aesthetic for its character designs and features an open-world setting, where players are free to take in the sights, exploring various settlements and poking around in dingy dungeons for hidden treasures.

Developer Level-5 previously confirmed that Ni no Kuni II will take full advantage of the PS4 Pro, offering enhanced visuals displayed in 4K resolution complemented by a buttery-smooth frame rate.Â
