Marvel Rivals’ popularity can be credited to its free-to-play 6v6 action, but a part of it also stems from its seasonal battle passes, which provide a new set of skins, emotes, and cosmetics that keep fans excited for each new season. The passes are reasonably priced—Season 1’s Luxury Battle Pass costs $9.99 for 10 skins and additional rewards—and allow users to customize their favorite Marvel heroes, from Spider-Man to Scarlet Witch, with iconic designs.
The non-linear progression system, inspired by titles such as Helldivers 2, allows players to use earned currency to obtain desired rewards, decreasing grind and increasing excitement. Each season brings new characters, settings, and modes, with Season 1’s Eternal Night Falls adopting a darker, vampire-themed look and Season 2 shining with Hellfire Gala-inspired skins for Black Panther, Captain America, and others.
However, right as Season 2.5 nears its release, rumors around the Season 3 Battle Pass skins have already surfaced online. Check out which heroes can be a part of the upcoming pass.
Marvel Rivals Season 3 Battle Pass leak reveals new skins for these heroes
According to Marvel Rivals dataminer X0X_Leak, there are seven skins in the game files that are decrypted and have not been released as of yet. These skins are for the following heroes: Storm, Groot, Magneto, Scarlet Witch, Jeff the Land Shark, Wolverine, and Iron Fist.

Among these, five skins are original NetEase designs while two are comic-inspired outfits. Since they are merely leaks that these characters may soon get a skin. X0X_Leak also reveals that the last time unknown skins appeared in datamined files, they turned out to be Battle Pass outfits. Drawing on that speculation, the leaker said, “Last season, some of the skins in the list who didn’t release in 1.5 made it to 2.0, like Squirrel Girl Punk edition, so do not expect all of these to release in 2.5. 1-2 might be event-related or 3.0 BP.”
While the Season 2.5 update is already bringing Ultron and a new map, and there’s still time for Season 3 to arrive, usually, the original concept outfits are released in the Battle Pass. Hence, it is highly likely that the original outfits in the list above will be a part of the next pass. However, it’s also possible that new Season 2 heroes Emma Frost and Ultron may also be included since there have been no free skins announced for them so far.
