Marvel Rivals debuted with a large roster of 33 legendary characters, including Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Squirrel Girl, and it continues to evolve with ambitious post-launch ambitions. Game designer Guangyun Chen announced that each three-month season will feature two new heroes, one every six weeks, assuring a consistent stream of new content.
Season 1 has already included the Fantastic Four, and Season 2 adds Emma Frost and Ultron, while Season 3 will introduce a new hero every month, bringing the total to 12 per year. This quick growth, based on nearly 70 years of Marvel legend, intends to keep players involved with different characters like Jeff the Land Shark and prospective future additions such as Blade and Jean Grey.
