Research firm Intellisponse has leaked early details on what appears to be Activision’s next Tony Hawk video game for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

The game which is referred to under three titles – Amplitude, Adrenaline and Huck Jam – will utilise a new board controller which will feature motion sensing, suggesting the player will have to mimic real life moves to pull off cool moves in the game.

EA’s Skate introduced a new level of realism to the skateboarding genre, but the proposed motion sensing board peripheral could see Activision’s franchise take a step closer to the real thing.

Will a skateboard controller make it too hard for non-skaters to enjoy the game? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
