Star Wars Battlefront II developer DICE has rolled out a fresh update for the sci-fi shooter, adding a bunch of new content themed around the Clone Wars and tweaking the game's Squad System.
According to the official patch notes, players can now kit out soldiers in the Republic Army in new outfits based on the 91st Mobile Reconnaissance Corps or the 104th Wolf Pack Battalion, lead by Jedi Masters Windu and Plo Koon, respectively.
As for the Squad System, the game will now automatically place you in a squad when playing with a group of mates, while also reducing the time it takes to place you back into your group when killed in action.
In addition, you can also move between squad members to decide who you want to spawn on after you kick the bucket. If you're going it alone, the game will select a random squad to place you in, though you can still select who to spawn on when killed.
Star Wars Battlefront II was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in November last year.
The game recently brought back Emperor Palpatine after a brief hiatus, although the Dark Lord of the Sith has been nerfed quite a lot in comparison to his previous incarnation.
