The latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu is reporting that Nintendo has opened a new office in Tokyo, with its sole purpose the development of the Revolution version of Super Smash Bros. What will come as even better news to Smash Bros. fans is that the series’ creator Masahiro Sakurai has been persuaded to return after a two-year absence from Nintendo.
It’s believed that Sakurai was convinced to return to Nintendo after talks with Nintendo president Satoru Iwata at E3 which took place earlier this year. Sakurai says that he hopes to have a team of 50 developers working on the Revolution version of Super Smash Bros.
