Capcom has released a new video for Monster Hunter: World that shows off a new location. Wildspire Waste is a huge area, with swampland, blistering heat, and rocky mountains,  and is home to a number of fearsome creatures who’ve adapted to the wildly varying environment.

The trailer introduces the Barroth, a gigantic creature that consumes ants and marks its territory with mud. There’s also a bird-like creature called a Kula-Ya-Ku, which hunts and steals other monsters eggs. Kind of like a big ass crow.

Monster Hunter: World will put players in the role of an unnamed hunter who is tasked with completing various quests, alone or with others, crafting gear and cooking creatures as they slay monsters within a hugely diverse eco-system packed with a number of predators who won’t hesitate to devour the player if they get the chance.

Monster Hunter: World is due to come out in early 2018 for PS4 and Xbox one.
