A new gameplay trailer for FIFA 15 takes a look at the complete overhaul to goalkeepers in this year’s game.
Senior producer Nick Channon notes the developer has re-worked goalkeepers from “the ground up” after “over two years of development”.
The trailer shows goalkeepers reacting to deflections, showing better responsiveness when rushing out to loose balls and saving with their legs.
While goalkeepers have been improved, they’ve also become more realistic, meaning shots can deflect past them, attackers can send them the wrong way and shots can fly through their legs.
