A new game in the Ecco the Dolphin series is a step closer to happening, with series creator Ed Annunziata confirming that he’s got a meeting with SEGA to discuss a new game.
“Ecco fans, I need you to follow & tweethank @scottfoe, he convinced SEGA to meet with me now chances of a new Ecco the Dolphin x100!”, tweeted Annunziata.
The dolphin man added that he’s got original composer Spencer Nielsen on board for the project.
Ecco last appeared on the PlayStation 2, in the 2002 port of Dreamcast game Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future.
