Battlefield 2 has already seen one full-price add-on in the shape of Battlefield 2: Special Forces, but EA will release smaller, lower cost updates exclusively via their download service. On February 8 Battlefield 2: Euro Force will be released, followed by Battlefield 2: Armored Fury on March 28. Both will carry a £5.99 (ââ€Â¬9.99) price tag.
Battlefield 2: Euro Force will be the first time the European Army has joined the battlefield and they bring seven new weapons, four new vehicles and three new maps to the game. Battlefield 2: Armored Fury will introduce two new vehicle classes and three new maps set in rural America.
Battlefield 2 will also receive update 1.2 soon, fixing a number of known problems with the game. For more detailed information on the content in the downloadable packs and info on the upcoming patch, head over to the official Battlefield 2 website.
