The Need for Speed movie which opened internationally last week has already earned $63,444,939, pretty much recouping its production budget of $66 million, reports IMDB’s Box Office Mojo.

The film earned $17.8 million during its opening weekend in the US, which was enough to chart at No.3 behind Mr. Peabody & Sherman and 300: Rise of an Empire.

Most of the movie’s gross came from the international box office, where Aaron Paul and co. took just over $45.5 million.

The movie should now go on to earn over $100 million worldwide.
