NCsoft and Carbine to announce new MMO at gamescom

NCsoft and Carbine Studios have announced that they will announce a new MMO at gamescom on the morning of Wednesday August 17. Following gamescom the title will be on show at PAX Prime in Seattle.

The Carbine developed title is a brand-new IP that the studio has been working on for the past four years. According to NCsoft the gamescom reveal “promises to be different from the standard game project announcement”.

NCsoft will also be showing subscription-less MMO sequel Guild Wars 2 at gamescom. The publisher revealed that the Guild Wars 2 beta is scheduled for the second half of 2011.
