New Eras Quick Play

One significant new change that is now available for next-gen users on NBA 2K23, is that of the new Eras Quick Play mode. This is huge! Though it only caters to next-gen players, this was a key aspect of the ‘Play Now’ menu that was missing since launch, and was a much-needed addition.

If you’re just looking to get in a game with any two teams you can pick from either of the available eras, be it the Magic vs Bird, Jordan, or Kobe eras, this mode will be just for you and delivers all of the era-specific broadcast elements and video filters that make it come to life in a meaningful way.
