Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has a load of incredible weapons to level up fast – but thanks to this latest ‘glitch’ it’s never been easier to get XP.
To pull it off, you first need to go into Spec Ops Co-operative mode, and select the mission Mt. Zaya. For those who haven’t played it, the mission drops you in on the Dome area of the Al Masrah map.
Here, you’ll have to protect three strongpoints from enemy waves. Some waves will see bombs planted that need to be disarmed, others will see Juggernauts come in and fortify the capture points.
As you defeat each wave, it’ll get harder. Wave 1 is typically the easiest and boasts the weakest enemies. Continue on to wave 3 and 4, and you’ll be dealing with heavily armored troops.
MW2 XP ‘glitch’ – how to do it
Despite the fact these missions are designed for co-op play, you’re going to want to make sure you are in a solo lobby to achieve this quick XP hack. The easiest way to do this is, sadly, constantly restarting the mission until the other person leaves.
Once that happens, head over to the weapons area and select the weapon you want to max out.

Then, try to take out as many enemies as possible in the first Wave. Once you’ve done that, you want to kill yourself. Then select ‘Restart Mission’ in the game menu that shows after your death.
Then run through and kill another wave or two. Die. Then restart again, and so on. Each time, your weapon will gain XP and level up quicker than if you were playing the whole match.
