How to fix the Niamey Logan reset rank error in MW3
The good news is that we are here to help. Here’s how to fix the Reset rank error in MW3 Season 1:
- When prompted, press the Yes button.
- Click Quick Settings and open the Settings menu.
- Press the Circle button or Esc to exit the menu
Make sure to restart the game client to resolve the issue fully.
On PC, you’ll need to go through the same process by clicking Yes, opening the Settings menu on the landing page, and then exiting out of it afterward. Alternatively, you can also use the tried-and-tested method of verifying the integrity of your game’s files instead:
- Head to your Steam library.
- Right-click Modern Warfare 3 from your list of games.
- Select Properties from the pop-up menu.
- Choose Local Files from the Properties menu.
- Press “Verify integrity of game files.”
- Wait for the process to finish, and restart your client.
In addition to these fixes, the official Call of Duty Updates X (formerly Twitter) account also announced that players do not need to worry about their ranks, unlocks, and purchases. However, they did state that “loadouts, customizations, and certain settings may be reset,” so make sure to check your weapon builds before jumping into a match.
