The MW2 community is calling for the developers to fix their in-game report system as innocent players are falling victim to false claims while cheaters get off scot-free.

Multiple instances of unsuspecting users being mass reported for simply being adequate at the game has often been a recurring theme in a franchise with a large player base like CoD. Naturally, those suffering from this sort of injustice are taking to Reddit to vent out their frustrations with the unfair nature of this specific in-game system.

One user in particular had created a popular thread detailing how he was falsely mass reported during a single match. Though it is currently unclear what the consequences were for the post creator, these instances are still incredibly frustrating as players can report others for what they perceive as the slightest issue.

Numerous comments have also echoed the thread author’s sentiment with one player even stating that they’re currently on day two of their three-day voice chat ban. Another response mentioned that they received a three-day communication ban even though they “never use the chat or talk at all.”

Most users involved in the thread are hoping for an immediate fix as this sort of abuse often ruins a player’s experience. A few people have asked Infinity Ward and Raven Software to have “someone actually review those reports before sanctioning players.”

Unfortunately, with the game still suffering from a plethora of bugs and glaring issues, these problems may be low on the list for the game’s developers. If it doesn’t end up getting fixed soon, however, players may end up leaving the game entirely after having had to suffer through the same abuse multiple times.
