Infinity Ward has apparently made the puzzlingly frustrating decision of excluding the popular 10v10 mode from MW2. Following the revelation of its removal, the community is predictably angry as most had been hoping for its permanent inclusion within the game.

Following the match type’s initial release during the weeks preceding Season 2, it quickly became one of the most played mode selections as soon as it became available. A lot of the maps on offer, such as Valderas Museum and Santa Sena Border Crossing, even became more bearable for a large number of players purely because of the amount of users within the lobby.

Unfortunately, the developer’s tendency to keep quiet during times like these only aggravates the problem, which is why the player base often turns to Reddit to air out their grievances. Numerous users have already created posts lamenting the loss of the previously mentioned game mode, further cementing its popularity within the community.

A recently created Reddit thread, which simply stated that 10v10 is indeed gone from the game, has already earned several reactions from other disgruntled fans. Some commenters are saying that it was the only mode they “enjoyed firing up”, so they’re hoping for an immediate return in the next playlist update. Others, on the other hand, are simply venting out their frustration on the developers for removing most of the fan-favorite features.

It remains to be seen what Infinity Ward and Raven Software have planned for the 10v10 mode moving forward. But based on the community’s reactions so far, it’s safe to say that a majority of them aren’t happy with the decisions that are being made behind the scenes.
