*LIVE NOW* MW2 Gun Game Release Date

Gun Game has now made its way into the list of MW2 game modes after it was introduced during a playlist update.

Though it was initially supposed to be included with Season 2’s launch, it seems that the developers have finally decided to include it after a week-long delay. Now that it’s here, the player base can finally get back into playing one of the most popular match offerings in CoD history.

When is the release date of Gun Game in MW2?

Gun Game has been released with MW2’s playlist update on February 22 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT. Though it wasn’t officially been confirmed, it seems that this was the most likely outcome since the developers had indeed promised its availability during Season 2’s launch.

What made Gun Game’s previous absence even more confusing was the lack of communication from Infinity Ward as to why they decided to hold off on releasing it. A quick look at the MW2 Trello Board also didn’t reveal much in terms of their plans so everyone was left in the dark.

Grind, which is a variation of Kill Confirmed and is also a new offering, is now also available. It was similarly absent from the current list of available game modes previously. It was launched together with Gun Game on the same day so players will finally be able to fully enjoy these new game modes now that they’re available.
