The arrival of a new season in MW2 marks a period of fresh additional content for all of the game modes contained within it. This includes new features for the popular multiplayer DMZ extraction mode that has taken the CoD community by storm since its introduction in Season 1.

The changes being made by the developers are much needed ones as it provides more incentive for users to keep playing the action-packed match type. If you’re curious about the new in-game inclusions within the world of DMZ, then you’ll be able to find out all you need below.

All New Updates for MW2 DMZ Season 2

Some of the most significant changes included with the latest update involves the addition of a new Exclusion Zone that players will be able to drop into. There will also be a new faction, which means that were will similarly be additional faction missions available for all players.

Here are all of the DMZ changes that players can expect with the latest MW2 update:

New Exclusion Zone

Players may already be familiar with the Ashika Island map since it will also be part of Warzone 2 and the new Resurgence mode. This small island will now also be available through DMZ, which means Operators will be able to explore all of the POIs found within.

Crown Faction

A new faction called the Crown will also be made available in DMZ, which grants players the opportunity to take on new missions with their own unique rewards. Some of the prizes that users can earn include Operator Skins and Weapon Blueprints among others.

Bombmaker Boss

The Ashika Island map will be featuring a new major threat dubbed The Bombmaker. This enemy will be holding a Season 2 Weapons Case that contains permanent rewards that players will be able to use outside of DMZ.
