All New Maps in MW2 Season 2

There are a total of five maps that have been included with the game’s second season, with one being available for Warzone 2 and the other four being playable through Multiplayer.

Here are all the maps that have arrived with the game’s latest update:

Ashika Island

Since the theme of Season 2 is all about Japanese culture and tradition, one of the new maps is fittingly based on the Asian locale. Dubbed Ashika Island, this small archipelagic locale features only seven primary POIs that you can drop into. This map is mainly meant to be played through the new Resurgence mode, but it is also available for Warzone 2 and DMZ.

Dome (Core Map)

A remake of the classic Modern Warfare 3 map, Dome is an area that’s located in the Al Mazrah desert and features three main buildings surrounding an open central area. It’s been described as a small- to medium-sized map so there’ll be plenty of action for players that drop into it.

Zaya Observatory (Battle Map)

Originally located in the Warzone 2 map of Al Mazrah, Zaya Observatory is now available through the game’s Ground War and Invasion Modes. This version of the map will be made up of the entire facility and its adjacent cliff sides, which means there are plenty of areas for players to get into gunfights.

Al Malik International (Battle Map)

Another area that’s located within the extensive area of Al Mazrah, Al Malik International is an airport that features the typical areas found within like the tarmac and the main airport building. Much like Zaya Observatory, this location is also available through the game’s Ground War and Invasion Modes.

Valderas Museum (Core Map)

Last but not least, we have the long-awaited Valderas Museum map which was initially teased during the MW2 beta period. Players were initially confused due to this location’s omission in the first season after being included in the testing phases. Now that it’s returned, however, people will finally be able to experience the bright museum map in all its glory.
