The MW2 community has had to endure ongoing waves of in-game bugs and glitches ever since the latest CoD installment was first released. Unfortunately, the developers have done little to alleviate these issues since then as numerous problems continue to plague several facets of the game.

Infinity Ward’s lack of urgency and communication in handling these problems have continually troubled the disgruntled MW2 community. For this reason, many players have often turned to Reddit to voice their concerns regarding the current state of the game and its bleak outlook moving forward.

This time around, players are becoming increasingly worried that the developers may end up neglecting MW2’s multiplayer mode with the upcoming Season 2 update on the horizon. One post in particular was downcast, saying that “I really enjoy playing MW2 multiplayer but it feels like we are second class citizens.”

“It’s not just Warzone that needs attention and changes. Multiplayer at the moment is fun but is not living up to what it could and should be,” they further added. The same player would then go on to suggest a series of changes that they think would help improve the popular game mode.

The post creator would then end their thread by challenging Infinity Ward to “deliver some actual original content” to show the community that they care. Commenters under the same post echo the player’s sentiment, with one response in particular stating that the post was “well-written” and that they “agree wholeheartedly.”

With the release of MW2 Season 2 only a few weeks away, the community will soon find out whether or not Infinity Ward has indeed neglected its multiplayer mode. Hopefully, they do find a way to improve it in order to satisfy their loyal player base.
