A demo for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat will be released on PlayStation Network for the PS3 on March 15. PlayStation Plus members will get it a week earlier on March 8.

The demo includes fighters Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Mileena and Johnny Cage, and the Living Forest and Pit environments. Gamers will be able to play in the arcade ladder alone or against a friend.

Warner has announced that the demo will be released on Xbox LIVE at a later date.

Mortal Kombat hits stores for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on April 21.
