Capcom has added yet more spit and polish to critically acclaimed beast-slaying behemoth Monster Hunter: World this week, with update 3.02 now available to download for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The update brings its boot down on a number of key bugs present in the game, starting with the questline related to the hulking Kulve Taroth. Specifically, it targets and removes an issue that resulted in the quest not progressing properly under certain conditions.

Elsewhere, a bug related to the Wyvern Ignition sword has been patched, which unintentially reduced its elemental attack power from 510 to 240. Finally, various bugs attributed to statistics from The First Wyvern, such as weapon usage and how many beasts you have slain, have been removed.

Monster Hunter: World was released on PS4 and Xbox One in January, and will launch for the PC later this year. The game was a massive success at launch, becoming Capcom's fastest-selling title in history and attracting rave reviews.
