Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter World's new event quest is now live, allowing you to begin the grindy task of gathering materials to dress up like Dante from Devil May Cry.

The Level 14 Code: Red event tasks players with dispatching a rather nasty collection of beasties, namely Anjanath, Odogaron, Rathalos, Teostra. Doing so will allow you to obtain Red Orbs (a signature Devil May Cry item that lets you purchase upgrades), which in turn are used to cobble together pieces of Dante's iconic clobber.

There are individual parts to the armour, with one Red Orb equal to one piece of the outfit, while Dante's crown-splitting sword requires you to cough up two of the magical, glowy objects. A total of seven Red Orbs are needed to forge Dante's armour and weapon, known as Dante α and Charge Blade, respectively.

Monster Hunter World's latest quest line will run until 5.00pm PST on May 10. Capcom is no stranger to offering up crossover events for the game, and isn't just limiting it to its own IPs either; earlier this year, the company allowed players to create an outfit based on Sony's Horizon Zero Dawn.

Monster Hunter World was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January, and quickly established itself as Capcom's best-selling game of all time.
