The highly anticipated Monster Hunter: World will receive a free batch of DLC following its PS4 and Xbox One launch later this month, and we now know one of the monsters included in it.

Capcom said today that the free goodies will include a creature known as Deviljho, which Monster Hunter aficionados will no doubt recognise from previous instalments in the franchise.

‘The Deviljho must feed constantly and will devour anything in its way, even feeding on the largest of monsters with its massive jowls,’ roared Capcom. ‘This wild beast really is one for only the bravest of hunters to take on.’

The Japanese software behemoth confirmed that the first batch of Monster Hunter: World DLC will arrive this Spring. In addition, it’s planning ‘regular content updates’ for the game going forward, with this one being the ‘first major title update.’

Monster Hunter: World is unleashed on January 26 for consoles and arrives on PC in Fall 2018. The game will receive a final PS4 beta beginning January 18, and there’s also a Monster Hunter Meat Shack if you fancy it too.
