Capcom has shown off a bunch of new co-op gameplay footage for upcoming RPG spin-off Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin ahead of the game’s launch on Nintendo Switch next week.

In addition, the studio has detailed its post-launch calendar of additional content following the game’s launch. Just a few days after release, the game will offer up the Palamute from Monster Hunter Rise as detailed a couple of weeks ago. The first major title update will then land on August 5, bringing along a co-op quest exclusive monster in the Kulve Taroth and two more Monsties in the Hellblade Glavenus and Boltreaver Astalos.

Title Update 3 then arrives in September and will bring three new Monsties — the Soulseer Mizutsune, the Elderfrost Gammoth and the Oroshi Kirin. Later in September a fourth update will add Dreadking Rathalos and Molten Tigrex and another version of the co-op quest for the Kulve Taroth but with an even higher difficulty.

Finally, in October, another Co-op Quest exclusive mission, with more details to be announced closer to the time. We do know it’ll be a high difficulty quest, and will also come with Silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian Monsties. All the updates will, of course, be free.
