Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will get a free demo next week on Nintendo Switch and in July on PC.
Announcing the news as part of Capcom’s E3 Showcase, the studio detailed that the ‘Trial Version’ will be available on the Nintendo eShop from June 25. The demo will then be available for PC players via Steam a couple of weeks later on July 9.
The Monster Hunter Stories 2 demo will allow you to create a character and provide a brief introduction to the RPG’s world and story. You’ll be able to befriend and begin raising some of the game’s creatures, and any progress in the demo will transfer to the full game on launch.
The show also took a moment to announce the first title update for Monster Hunter Stories 2, revealing that the game will get a crossover with Monster Hunter Rise. You’ll be able to recruit a Palamule companion from that game into your party as a Monstie when the update drops on July 15.
As a cheeky reminder, you’ve still got a few days left to enter our competition and win yourself a shiny Monster Hunter Rise themed Nintendo Switch console too, so get on that!
