Developer Milestone has dropped a trailer for its upcoming motorbike racer Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 5.

The trailer focuses on the game’s new Rider Shape System in Career Mode. Just as other racers task you with keeping your vehicle in one piece, you’ll have to afford the same care to your riders too. Injuries to your racers will impact their performance. A dislocated shoulder could effect your turn control, while a bruised arm might stop you braking as effectively.

To combat these ailments, you’ll have to restore your racers by taking them to workouts. Through a range of exercises, drills and mini-games like collecting letters back at base, you’ll get your riders back in racing shape in no time. Or at least, that’s the hope.

The game is the latest offering in the Monster Energy Supercross series from the developers behind surprise hit Hot Wheels Unleashed. Pre-orders for the game are live now, and include both the Standard Edition and the Special Edition. Those who put down their pre-orders now can get a Ice Blizzard and Fire Storm customisation pack. The aforementioned Special Edition also offers three days of Early Access and the game’s Season Pass with a bunch of DLC.

Check out the trailer for yourself down below. Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 5 arrives on March 17. It’ll be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 & PC.
